Hardware:
Pentium M 715 (1.5 GHz, 2 MB Cache)
512 MB DDR333 PC2700 RAM
Radeon 9700
40 GB HDD UDMA100
15,4 Zoll 16:10 Widescreen WXGA
When I turn off vsync I get really bad frame tearing, its way worse than on my desktop pc. When I turn vsync off, it looks good, but as soon as I start moving (no matter how fast, its just as bad while leaping as it is when I'm turning around quite slowly as marine) the image gets blurry. If I'd had this problem in all games, then it would be clear that the display simply sucks <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> But I got no problems in Rtcw, ET, Q3, NSF:U, CS, CS:Source and DoD, so the problem must lie somewhere in ns :/ And no, this isn't caused by interpolarisation (spelled wrong probably ;P) as I run NS in the displays native resolution of 1280*800.
CFG:
max_fps 60
both ati_* set to 0
I'd be really grateful if someone could help me :o
