An Alternate To Unchaining The Aliens Chambers

Instead of unchaining chambers you could have a system where:
1 hive = 1 chamber (you can choose 1 ability)
2 hives = 2 chambers (you can choose 2 abilities form each chamber)
3 hives = 3 chambers (all upgrades accessible)(aliens have usually already won)
This would have to be tested alot (for balance issues)
and if you have say 2 hives and lost 1 you could only pick 1 ability from each chamber
if you had 3 hives and lost 1 then you could pick 2 upgrades from 3 chambers
I think that this would balance end game marines with end game aliens as end game marines can get everything on their tech tree worth having such as weapons lvl 3 armour lvl 3 jp hmg and constant ammo and health supplies. This would allow aliens to have all upgrades at 3 hives instead of being stuck with 1 from each chamber.
..... so what do you think?

This is saying that you can still only get 1 chamber type for each hive but at two hives you can get 2 upgrades from the two chambers you have chosen.
e.g. If you got the common dc,mc,sc then you would have to have 2 hives to have dcs snd mcs but you couldnt get scs until hive 3. You would also be alble to choose 2 dc abilities and 2 mc abilities.
(if that is the unchaining theory then sorry)
Yeah.

Come to think of it, thats almost a COMBAT build. In classic NS? <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Can you say: "Hot knife through butter?" <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I suggest a partial unchaining. At hive one: Two chamber types can be built, and aliens can choose one upgrade from either branch.
At hive two: The third chamber type can be built, and aliens can choose two upgrades from all 3 branches (although not two from the same branch).
At hive three: Same as now.
Yeah.

Sure I can say that. It's pronounced "focus". <!--emo&::fade::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/fade.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='fade.gif' /><!--endemo-->
