<div class="IPBDescription">I need some trees.</div> A while ago I made a post like this. So long ago the post no longer exsists. Nor the links someone gave me. I asked for good quality premade trees and got the perfect one. My attempts to recreate are...falling short shall we say. I'd LOVE it if anyone remembers where to get good quality trees (like for DoD or something) or any other prefabs (they also linked to a whole site, that had some really nice quality objects that could be helpful to other mappers as long as credit is given to those who deserve it.)

I'll PM you his email.
- They give off natural oxygen
- They would remind you of home, of outside, of nature. Human's would slowly go mad if they were cut off from the outside world for such long periods (OK just realised I'm preaching to a bunch of mappers, with all the monitor-induced complexion of a white sheet of paper!) they'd slowly go mad. Nature is our home, we embrace it by buying houses with gardens or getting pets for companionship. I seriously doubt that a human colony would be absent of plant life unless there was a very good reason.
My map has no plants because one of its roles is cargo storage and therefore strict quarantine measures have to be imposed. But then again, trees?
EDIT: Just saw your hosting and can only assume that it wasn't sarcasm...
X5 email Nomad and ask him about tree models and clip brushes for what you want.
And do I use the monster_generic? I mean if the model is noclip that's fine, i'll just add clip brushes. But I can't remeber which is the correct one or if they'll even work in NS. (talking about same entity use in like the holograms in ns_origin or the seige in ns_osmsiege)
I see the tree models in DoD but what do I use to put them in the map. If I remember one entity made them indestructable and noclip and one made them solid but destructable. I'd like to have solid, indestructable but if not then what that first entity type I mentioned (noclip, indestuctable) and has anyone tested this in NS? confused-fix.gif<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
if you want to place a model in the level, use a cycler, it works well if the tree has no other animations. and if the tree has no hitbox on it you can use a func_wall textured with null.
a monster_generic is a bad choice for a tree, if you shoot the tree blood will come off of it, lol a tree with blood...
