Some Help Please

<div class="IPBDescription">With Nems Compiler..</div> well i read the tut on how to set up Nems Batch Compiler like 3 times..and it wont work..im trying to compile a small room (WIP of course) and when ever i compile it compiles so fast i cant read anything it says..and it auto closes the compile window..giving me no errors..only thing is its not compiling..any more tuts or anybody who can guide me threw this thanks. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> |EDIT| just relized i placed this in wrong place..can a mod plz move it to maping help..thx..(havent been on these forums for ages)

    This is more of a general mapping question than NS specific. I suggest hitting up <a href='http://countermap.counter-strike.net/cgi-bin/ubb/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&number=11' target='_blank'>the right</a> forum for this kind of question.

    The tutorials there are basic, straight forward, and sufficient to learning how to use Batch Compiler.

    I suggest reading them carefuly again because you would learn that a log is saved, if specificed, to look over later.

    It prints a log, by the way, find it by <i>yourmapname</i>.log. Open it in Notepad or something similar and have a look.

    In Batch Compiler, under the <b>Options</b> menu, select <b>Pause Console</b> to keep your console from closing. If it closes anyways there may be an error in the batch file Batch Compiler generates (maybe something not in an older version of Windows). To test this, run the <b>compile.bat</b> file Batch Compiler generates from a command prompt. If it is an error, let me know so I can fix it.

    it says check my log file for the error(s)..but there is no log file??

    and if there is an error my editor is broken 3.5 Hammer..cause its just a plain box room atm

    its fine..i got in contact with a friend that uses it..and he helped me..it works awesome now..GREAT program nem..i love it..also i am working on a map..check the mapping forum for it within the week <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
