<div class="IPBDescription">CRASHING</div> Well i thought you may want to know about this or many not but im going to post it anyway.
Ati/nvidia do not support omega drivers. Yet as most of you know, omega drivers especially for ati is the way to go. Omega drivers provide better performance/quality/overclocking. Anyway on to what this is about.
New Omega drivers came out based on catalyst 4.10 beta. I installed them but if you play ns (and it only does this in ns not in cs, dod, tfc, or any other games as i have tested it.) and you do something and hit your console button ns freezes your whole comp. You cannot ctrl alt del or anything it just freezes.
ex. As skulk be strafing and hit console button boom frozen. Or gestating soon as your done comming out of egg hit console button boom frozen.
Now i have omega drivers based on catalyst 4.7. I have had them installed since i reformatted and ns works fine. I tried to update the drivers and install omega drivers based on catalyst 4.8 and it did the same thing as of now what it does in 4.10 and im sure it does the same **** for omegas based on catalyst 4.9.
So i am just wondering if maybe something is conflicting with the 2, or maybe i need to uninstall steam everytime i update the drivers or what. I have no idea i just figured it was something you could look into because i have not been able to get it to work. Ive tried uninstalling steam, then my drivers, reinstalling omega drivers then steam and it still fails.
Open to suggestions.
