Font Size In Firefox + Nsf

<div class="IPBDescription">Help me, Obi-wan Kenobi</div> Hey-ho!

I was wondering if there was some way to set Firefox so that it displayed any page from the NSF in +1 font from normal.

I have Firefox 1 pr

I find it easier to concentrate on reading posts when they are +1 size because of my blindness; especially in the discussion forum, as the posts there are generally longer and slightly larger font means I'm not leaning in to read it, which is bad.

If there isn't some way, then I'll just have to do it the old fasion way and press [ctrl][+], but as we all know, lazy is much better for you psychologically, and even though I can't think of a way to do it, it can't hurt to ask the brains trust that is NSF-OT.

Open a new tab/window. In the address bar type "about:config". Scroll down to "font.size.variable.x-western". Right click on it, click modify. Modify the value to whatever you please. Voila.

edit: i'm on 0.9 but it should work with pr as well.

Hold CTRL and scroll Up/Down :)

That's pretty useful. My eyes hurt, maybe it's from reading tiny text on 1280 x 1024. By the way, ctrl + scroll is for temp solutions.. if you want it to be on a particular site every time you load it up, use version's.

ive done this to every webpage, set the minimum display font to 12 or 13, but it breaks a couple of complicatedly designed webpages. too bad for them, i like to be able to read without eyestrain.

using the about:config option fixes it on pages like google, and pretty much every other page i could test, but these forums are resistant. Anyone know why?

same with the options menu, doesn't change nsf, but does change google.

however ctrl+up/down does work, so does [ctrl][+]

    yup

NSF is impervious to font changes in the menu and from about:config

    only the shortcuts work...

    hmmm
