<div class="IPBDescription">Does this belong here?</div> First of all, I'm not sure whether this is the right forum for map feedback. If not, I apologise in advance.
Secondly, co_sava is a great map. It looks and feels excellent, and it's atmosphere is spot on. The various structures in the water treatment room just blow me away.
However, I do have some feedback about this map that I would like to contribute.
- The hive room. This can be tricky for aliens to defend. Many games on co_sava that I see witness the marines quickly moving to either side of the hive room, in the short passageways, and camping. As the aliens have to move out of either exit, directly into the marine's firezones, this can and does result in a heap of dead aliens and fast-leveling marines. Inevitably after a minute or two of this a gren launcher comes out and the hive room simply gets gren spammed from the fairly safe entrances.
Solutions? I think there should be at least one other way out of the hive, preferably a vent. If not, perhaps break up the nearby passageways with some infestation or crates, enough to give defending aliens some cover. There's still the problem that the two rooms either side of the hive are rather large and thus marine friendly, so maybe some more cover in these areas would help
- the vent with red lights. Not sure of the exact name, but it's the vent with red lights on the ceiling. These look great, but make moving very difficult, as an alien is constantly getting stuck on them. If this is intentional, then I believe the speed reduction should be reduced slightly.
That's everything that I can think of currently. Thankyou Mensdap for a fantastic map <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

You know, if you'd look around for 2 minutes you'd see that Mendasp has deleted the hive and made a new one...
