    PS: if you make it fold open like a flower (look like it's supposed to do that from the top of the model), MB, just MB you could get it in official ? Just MB...any1 else think so? :/

    The egg can't be animated, sure you can give it animations but it won't play ingame.

    Wait...there's a model for the thing between EGG & ALIEN...use the model you just made for it...but this time make the 4 flaps loose from eachother...put an animation for it...

    BUT: I don't know if you can set the time of the state between egg & alien...

    No, it's not possible right now. The current egg only uses the idle animation for the start, gestation, and end. You can animate it otherwise, that's how it's coded, so now matter how many fancy anims you make, it'll still stick with the idle anim.

    i would guess if you get the excact gestation time for lets say your favorite lifeform of alien you can make it open twords gestation ending]
    i do belive it would havbe to be a low speed model or a lot of frames

    Hm...okay...but it'll do that for the entirety of the gestation...you'll see the egg constantly opening and closing. I think your idea is to time it to the time it takes to gestate...but different upgrades take different amounts of time, so it's a no-go.
