My internet is going insane. Whenever I try to play NS, I go to refresh the server list, and as the servers start popping up, the pings on each consecutive one go up. For example, the 1st has a ping of 60, then the 2nd has a ping of 250, 3rd 500, etc until they hit around 1900-2000 which at that point steam no longer shows them. Now this is not only showing in NS, it happens on all steam games as well as ut2k4 and bf1942. Now here is the strange part, it dosen't occur on some games. These being : Soldat, CnC generals and Cnc Generals:ZH, and I can browse the internet perfectly, as well as download files at my normal speed (350- 500 kbps). I have done multiple Virus scan, which don't turn up anything, and have run both Adaware and Spybot. This only started happening about 1 1/2 weeks ago.
This problem also dosen't reside on any of the other machines that are running off the wireless network. The only 2 it affects is mine, and the one that recieves it's internet via ethernet through mine. My wireless internet is encrypted, and when this first started happening I changed the encryption just to make sure. And before anybody says this, no I don't want to reformat, because a: Getting my raid array setup was a mofo, and B: I think this is my last activation on this Windows product key, and I really don't want to have to pay to call them up (I used up my to free calls already).

I've got my rates set right: 25000.
If I join any server, my ping starts out at about 40, then over the next 15 second shoots up to 1500, then flickers between that and about 800. Of course making the game unplayable.

Those are games that work. It's only Steam games that don't work.
