ehm.. the point of a func_seethrough is that the commander can see through it, and not being able to place structures on it. Now you want him to be able to drop structures on it, so why using a func_seethrough then <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

you could use a func_wall instead. func_walls can be set to be transparent in commanderview. just search for it in the "info_mapinfo" oder "info_gameplay" or what its called. does anybody know where it is exactly?
you can then set a value like you set the additiv value for glass-objects.
    maybe thats what you want.

Thanks, I'll have to try that out. And the reason I need to do this is because I have a hive that is very vertical, and if I make them geometry, then the commander won't be albe to see the bottom level very well, but if he can't build on them, the marines won't have too many choices on where to build in the hive.
