I can't even use cotton bud sticks in my ears until my infections gone. And I had to wear ear plugs in the shower... Made out of wax... They were very stickyish and soft... I'm not sure if there's still a bit of them in there...
Yes, he's a clone of maddox (with worse topics). I just figured ti was applicable with q-tips. However, on the actual subject, you should be careful using q-tips, because you can puncture your eardrum, or just push the wax closer to your eardrum - which you'll need to go to the doctor for anyway...but it works for a quick swabbing if you have big ear canals or something.
I think about every one in four times i use ear cleaners i end up stabbing my eardrum. Not cool.

Seriously. Don't do it.

Had to get my ear irrigated (basically just squirted a lot of water into my ear, heh) and the ball of gunk that came out was like the size of a M&M. Pretty freakin nasty.
So don't use Q-tips on your ears folks.
The nurse suggest just lathering up soap and letting that run into your ears then just turn your head up to let the shower water run into the ear canal.
P.S. A whole year without cleaning your ears? Eww.

Soap? I'm a bit skeptical... but I don't need a doctor to know I have ALOT of ear wax that builds up very quickly. :\
Last week i went to the doctor's to get my pink eye checked out and they looked in my ears just for the heck of it. They decided to clean 'em out and an M&M size chunk fell out of both ears. But I didn't notice any big change in my hearing, still about the same.

Filling your ears with water in order to clear them out is perfectly safe, since the eardrums are watertight. Unless they, very very recently, have been inflamed and you've gotten rid of the inflammation(if they are still inflamed, it's obvious that you shouldn't mess with them and go to a doctor), because then they might not have healed up.

Until now i thought a q-tip was some kind of pen. Then i googled it at the start of this post and found This **** which confused me futher. He cleaned out his ears with an idiot ghetto rapper. Then went futher to discover it men't cotton buds.
I just spray the shower head in there, from a bit of a distance obviously, not wanting to blow out my eardrum.

I tend to forget doing it though...
