Right, old movie, I know, but I thought it was pretty good. So I go on rottentomatoes cause im curious and apparantly the critics freakin panned it. Hard. 10%? Man, it wasnt an Oscar winner, but 10% is pretty freakin harsh. Soul Plane deserved 10%. Not this. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/exorcist_the_beginning/

Sucked balls, enough said. Acting sucked, storyline had potential but ultimately blew, direction was ok, but overall a total waste of money. This movie, along with a few of it's predecessors (except the original) have just mooched off of the Exorcist franchise to gain a few bucks.

Heh, I enjoyed it. I saw the original recently and wasn't all that impressed. It was kind of...lame. What it lacked in special effects it didn't even attempt to make up with character exploration. With the ambiguity of the ending, I thought the writers had wanted to do a lot more with the plot line and weren't allowed to go further, and so it just seemed random and worthless. It was cool to watch and all, but I still wonder why people are still scared of that movie. Hellraiser was a lot more interesting to watch than Exorcist.
