<div class="IPBDescription">Bye Storage :(</div> Yeah, so, in preparation of moving out from my parents house, I've given up my sweet part time job as Assistant Manager at Morgan Self Storage of Hooksett, to become a full time corporate **** at a Market Basket.

For a few weeks I'm "Part Time" at $7.50 an hour, 40 hours a week, and then, if I decide to go "Full Time" I get bumped up to $10 an hour, 50 hours a week, time and a half on Sundays, with a half decent benefits package.

Once I build my new computer system (hot n sexy Athlon 64ness with a very nice Sound Card) and have around $2000 in the bank, my best friend and I are off to get an apartment Somewhere in the Manchester, NH area. Should be pretty sweet.

So yeah, new job starting this Monday at 7 am on the dot. Actually a few minutes before 7. It's kind of a step down in my book (2.4 years of Office work) but it offers me around twice as much money plus benefits. Well, gotta start somewhere in the full time world.

I'm sad though...not as much free time to lerk these forums. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Dude, don't live in ManchVegas, it's dirty. I gotta drive through it every day on my way to work and I feel like I should wash my car afterwards, and this coming from someone who lives in NashAngelos, which isn't much better.

    Depends on the part of Manchvegas. I lived there for 8 years, and my best friends still all live there. There are some decent apartments in the South end and North end (I'm a former South Ender) but the key is to avoid the tree street area in central/downtown Manch.

    Also, it has the only real nightlife in New Hampshire, besides Nashangelos, and I'm not really digging the idea of livin in Nash at all. Also, Concord's way worse than Manch. Trust me, I know some people involved in certain drug scenes up there, and there was a little war going on recently. Funny that a city half the size of Manch has at least as many cops.

    Nice to see some other NH people on these forums though. Thought I was the only one.

    I always wondered why there are so many drugs up here. You wouldn't think that New Hampshire would be such a heroin den, but yet it is.

    Well, first day on the job. It can be summed up in several key words/phrases:

    1.) Monotonous
    2.) Fast Paced
    3.) Mind Numbing
    4.) Exhausting

    Of course, some of my co-workers are interesting. A few of the chicks are pretty good looking, but I've heard a lot of negatives on the subject of doing girls that work where you do, so I may skip that and go for their friends. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    It's a curious thing that I do for Market Basket. Being a critical thinker, I tend to look at my work from other perspectives, so I've decided that the job title I should receive is Full Time Illusion Artist/Stocker. After all, when we are stocking the shelves and stalking the shelves during "breakdown," we are putting the illusion that the shelves are full, which they are and are not at the same time. Some products are overstocked, and so behind the understocked products they lay in wait to be revealed in their dominating, overstocked glory after an unwitting customer takes the final good in the assumption that behind their choice of item is another item of the same kind. Alas, it is not so, but no one knows but us and the customers we get to tell "I'm sorry, we don't have that in stock."

    Man, I can't wait until I get bumped up to $10.00 an hour in a few weeks. I'll be able to write another lengthy post about my wonderful new job that is enabling me to purchase expensive computer parts for the Godmachine I am building. Oh yeah, the benefits and being able to afford purchasing a condo (with a best friend along for the ride) is a wonderful thing as well.
