Bah seeing as I haven't reached 'regular' status yet, I'm gonna post my own awarded points to each person (or if I'm lazy just vote for my fav).
BTW saying "O mah gees j00 r teh argue! j00 wont let it trigger_hurt 99999999" doesn't exactly convince me that you have nothing to do with the ongoing feud.
DR. FUZZY is one of them isn't it? just kidding... Is this some sort of presidential election influence? Btw, who are the judges? (as if i knew someone, heh)
thats why there is room for 8 regular ns players to be judges if you want to be a judge just pm me <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> as ive said 3 times already

Your votes dont matter. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> oh come off it..
Get enough people in any one place and mass stupidity is the only result you'll ever get, the general public as a whole are retards and putting it to public vote would be totally unfair. This is a modelling contest, a contest about making a model, so judging it on looks is utterly, utterly unfair. It's like judging a car purely on looks, the models looks are only part of equation. The proposed system is the fairest way of doing it IMO.
Anyways, back on topic, I'll finish off mine and unwrap it in the next few days, I'm busy with the FAL at the moment. It's currently way under the poly budget, even with the rails and stuff, so I think I'll put a scope or something on it.

But i havent modeled anything in over a month! This has been the last thing i modeled since september.
So technically, im ok <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Alright, so it's not a Bren Gun, but I felt like modelling it. <img src='http://clanrra.com/uploads/renderfish9a91-1.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' /> 2449 polies. Not sure which one I'll enter, or if I'll try and rush some other gun before the deadline.
this part of the.. trigger guard is it called? iono, it looks really thin <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I really like that fisch, there's a heap of great detail happening there (and it's not even totally mirrored!) It would even fit into NS, as it does seem to have a fresh look to it (wouldn't that be a treat!) Oh and great work using up the polys, came just under.
fish, if you lessened the amount of polies used to round the stuff, you coulda made a way more intricate sighting system, iron sight or what ever you want :o

Thanks again Chrono for the render. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> Looks nice, but the polywaste is rather ridiculous. Especially on the foregrip and the pistol grip. You don't need so many polies to round stuff, and they do look rather boxy. And there's no point using 10-sided cylinders for screws and such. 8 or even 7 or 6 is more than enough. I think it's a great model if you can reduce the polycount to... I dunno.... 1000-1500? 'Cause that's what it looks like really. I'm sorry but i'd rather say the truth instead of just asskissing.
I dont have time to make a whole new model damnit. Havent for weeks. Thats my model or nothing <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

2449 polies. Not sure which one I'll enter, or if I'll try and rush some other gun before the deadline.
Thanks again Chrono for the render.
I really like it.
