When I did the polycount, Iconverted it all to editable patch, which converts everything to triangles... So I didn't rig the polycount, if that's what you are implying.
And yes, faces are triangles. Polys are anything above / including 3 sides... Not sure what I'll be submitting, methinks the FAMAS. But I've already started meshing it. WHat do you think?

It would need to bend around corners and such, and you would need vertexes for the spot where it bends. Your quad is actually 2 triangles.

I know some anims that would fit with it.
Smoothing still to be done + sights....its at 2200 now. Still without optimization anywhere.
