it should be required! if it is as good as it looks, it should be included with NS, and it should force you to play this. Someone has to implement a system so we dont' have to do it every time we install NS, but this could lead to so many exciting things. Not having to answer, "what is that thing biting my legs' would be a HUGE improvement
yes, yes, YES! This is awsome, how to require it to be played is something I do not know if it can be done or not. This gets my gorge seal of approval.

Since this map is for one person only, I expect it would be highly expempt from the NS mapping guidelines which are designed for a multiplayer enviroment.
That said, if you CAN create a releaseable product, you stand a good chance of getting it included as long as it is professionally done.

If you used Bry's method, then it wouldnt matter, and if it was suppose to be multiplayer, no one would play it anyway, and it would be useless.
Although, not every server admin has access to rcon... I know quite a few servers whose owners dont even play... You dont really need an admin to do it for you, but it's possible that some don't even know what the HL console is...

An NS hazard course is something I promoted many months ago and got very negative e-mail about it. So in some ways I am glad that you all have changed you minds but I must call some of you: HYPOCRITES!!!
lol. Anyways kudos to the people who made the map and let's brush it up a little more and then implement. Yay!

this looks great. i know the game inside and out, but im still gonna play this when its done, just for fun.
also glad someones makin this. after running into someone on a pub who had NO idea how to play, by their own admission, anything other than combat *commenting that they never bothered playing basic*, i can agree this should be a standard requirement to get online *said player only was on an NS map cause the server messed and played a basic by accident*

Passing on your ignorance to the next generation are we? IT'S NOT AN ENGINE BUG, it completely lives inside the MOD code(pm_shared.c) and they WANT it there.
edit: preview looks nice. Don't like how they hype up the skulk to be something it isn't. It's a small ambushing alien completely unfit for anything but close quarters or stealth, not a killing machine you expect to see killing several marines in a direct frontal assault which is what I would expect if I was a total newbie and just heard that little speech.
Well it IS capable of defending the hive and it CAN rip through armor in a few bites, although it would be nice to say, "It is an ambush unit with low endurance".

that hazardcourse should really be included for future versions! It's better for new players to fit in and protects them from frustrating experiences with standard players on public servers =)

By the looks of the trailer, it has mega potential of making it in. It just looks brilliant. Even the voicing is perfect itself.

That map is unbelievable. It's totally awesome. Should with 100% certainity be included in 3.0.
