Turok 2: Port Of Adia Conversion

...the mod in the works...
Since the idea for the Turok 2 mod has been spread over 2 topics, time to bring all the work I did last night together under one roof:

http://swooh.com/peon/tincan/newweb/

There is the website. I got a working forum, if anyone wants to join, a full idea on what I want to get accomplished list in the "about" section, and empty staff positions that need desperate filling! All of this was done in Photoshop and Dreamweaver, by myself, and the skin for the Invision fourm needs to change, I know....

Anyhow, if anyone wants to join the forums for the sake of it, go right ahead. If you want to help, I would be more than willing to help you feel more at home if at all possible.

So, this is it! Everything you need to comment goes here. Forgive the fact that the main image is 100 KB large, seeing as how the entire website is built from a giant JPEG since I got fed up with Dreamweavers antics over the past 2 hours. Just bear with me until I get the website under complete development.

Good hunting!

What at coincedence, I just recently got the first game's soundtrack. Which rules, go go tribal drums. But why Turok 2? The first was better in masses of ways. But good luck with this.

I found the second much more immersive and more believeable than the first one. Just trust me, I'd just like to get the Port of Aida completed. Its something I have yearned to do in a while, because it seems you could make your very own story out of Adia's plight.

    Here we go. Again....

I know that you are a big fan of ______________ and would love to see ______________ on the ______________ engine, but the fact remains that you do not hold the rights to the intellectual property of ______________ and thus, you can and will be given a cease and desist, and if you do not comply with that, you will be sued by ______________. What makes you think your ______________ is any different than the dozens of other ______________s out there that have already been shut down?

I suggest that you change your ______________ from using ______________ copyrighted material to just ______________-like things. You can call it ______________ inspired, that is okay. If you care anything about the time and effort that you will put into ______________ then you should change things now while you still can.

I swear to god, I'm just going to make a Word template...

Ah, but Doomeh! No one owns the license to Turok, because Acclaim (i think) sold it. The full and probably more correct version is in the other thread about Turok 2.

Can Acclaim even sue? Considering they don't even exist.

All the more reason for the green light.

Then someone owns it.. The person/company who bought it from Acclaim. They are the owners, so they are the ones who will be doing the suing.

If he could find out who they are, then he might even be able to get permission. Who knows? With Acclaim dead and the license rendered useless till they decide to make another game, they probably won't mind giving the ok to him.

No one owns it, kids. The license was revoked due to no payment, but at the time company has purchased the license. Its just sitting there, and since the Turok franchise has been do unsucessful, no one is buying it.
