they should give the gorge heal spray the ability to recover adrenaline or poison the rines or something.

mc first, then sc and last dc?
wldnt recommend it if using onos. but fade can do it cos by 2nd hive, u can get metabolise and dont really need DC. Onos would have to go all the way back to the hive and they r so slow. i wld use this strat onli for fade.

MC first is a viable strategy. Celerity or Silenced Skulks are simply amazing in the right hands and the chambers allow you to put up Hives in the most dangerous areas. While a Celerity Gorge isn't going to last as long as one with any of the DC upgrades, they can outrun a Marine, and Adrenaline allows them to drop an OC in the most dangerous places and still keep it healed. Likewise, Lerks can become a huge trouble for the 'Rines early on if they have Adrenaline.

SC first is also easy enough to win with. Focus can really tear up the Marines in the early game, though it is a detriment once the Marines get Armor1 (Takes three unFocused bites for Armor1, but two Focused, which is the equiv. of four bites. UnFocused is faster.) Cloaking is very valuable for Gorges, who can hide Hives, RTs, or themselves. Scent of Fear is also good for ambushing with Skulks, as is Cloaking.

However, I believe you would find it extremely difficult to win with DC as your last Hive unless you were seriously outclassing the Marines. Many people claim that Fades and Onos NEEEEEEED DCs to survive even the smallest encounter, they forget that their primary use is hit-and-run. Celerity helps you get back to the hive for healing faster, so the point is pretty moot.

The DMS order is not the end-all strategy that people think it is. Competant players are very adaptable, and even novices can be whipped into shape by a player with a sufficient knowledge of tactics IF they listen to him. You will, however, have an exceedingly hard time winning with an MSD or SMD order.

Surely it's around the same amount of time, not longer, as with focus or no focus, the first bite is at the same time, and un-focused skulk will then makes his second bite, while the focused skulk waits. They both then make another bite (the focused's second and the unfocused's third). The focused skulk will deal more damage in that, but the rine will still die at the same time, focused or not.

Well, focus biteing is actually a *little* slower in terms of getting damage out than regular biteing, but there's the whole "1 hit kill" advantage vs no armor, and the "medspam negation" and the fact that not every bite will always hit when biting as fast as possible, but with focus you have more time to aim, and because of focus co-ordinated ambushes are incredibly deadly (I.E. You only have time to get 1 bite anyways- 2 players each get their one bite from a good ambush, and the a1/a2/a3 rine dies.)

So yeah, I *sigh* <i>suppose</i> focus can be worked with, if you absolutly MUST. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
