Ok I Give Up! Im Financing A Computer!
<div class="IPBDescription">Help me</div> Ok I give up, I'm financing a brand new pc. What i need help with is where to finance it from?
I've got a few suggestions for what i want, But I want to be sure which one is the best choice.
The general idea of what I want:
Amd 64 bit 3000+
1024 MB (512MBx2) PC3200 400MHz Dual Channel DDR MEMORY
Good but Cheap Mobo that will support these. *which should come with the selections*
40 gig hardrive. (even 20)
Whatever is cheaper.
Ati 9800pro-x800
I doubt the x800 because Im not rich but whatever offers.
Thats the core of what I need. The rest of it I can replace with what I have on my current pc.
Some sites that I have got are..
<a href='http://www.alienware.com' target='_blank'>http://www.alienware.com</a> (overpriced?)
<a href='http://www.cyberpowersystem.com/' target='_blank'>http://www.cyberpowersystem.com/</a>
<a href='http://www.dell.com' target='_blank'>http://www.dell.com</a>
Simply I do not know where to take my money to for the best bang for the buck.
Please help me and keep in mind this is not supposed to be a dream machine with a ton of money backing it <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Comments
Hardive 1: 7gigs
Hardrive 2: 15gigs
40 is plenty for me.
Shutup....
I have yet to find a company that finances singular computer compenents.
Although I was told this was because they were having trouble with stocks of P4's
Edit: Just had a look at <a href='http://www.cyberpowersystem.com/' target='_blank'>http://www.cyberpowersystem.com/</a> they seem ok to me <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
3200 + 9800pro + 1gig ram for about ?1k
building a computer isnt hard. try it and spend the $100+ dollars you saved on candy
It may be simple, but there can be complications, and things you may overlook.
My video card was very awkward to get in, and the sound card was stopping it's fan from spinning.
I dropped a screw in the case, and i <i>still</i> can't find it, but nothing has gone wrong yet, so i gave up looking.
Ultimately, if all goes well, you should be looking at 4 hours MAX
Dude..
If you look through the configure program on any of those sites, I meant a cheap mobo, as like not the most expensive out of the 3 choices when using that build program thing.
Better off buying the parts individually and financing them with a credit card.

Oh ok never mind then <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
but serously "finance" it by credit card make payments, DO YOUR RESEARCH buy parts
from newegg, then take them all to a computer shop for them to build it for you, for like 50 bucks its not that hard...

They're called "debit cards" and work just like credit cards, except the money transfer is done at the time of the purchase, not the end of the month. Visa Electron for example is a debit card

That doesn't allow financing, though, which is what he needs.
Gees, processor is easier then ram, you just put it in the slots, and clamp it down, then your done. If you don't know how to put on a heatsink you should be shot, the only thing some people miss is that you absolutly can't press down on the CPU or you risk cracking it.
