<div class="IPBDescription">???</div> i REALLY want to play ns, but as soon as i enter the server and im in the ready room, it comes up with "Software mode not supported by Natural Selection". My com tops the system rewuirements. how can i change to d2d or another vid mode?

    well did u download directx? u can get it at www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/downloads/default.asp.

    And you should get your video driver upgraded at their site

    Go to options. Video. Theres a dropdown box, change it to OpenGL.

    OpenGL is better, but if it doesn't work, you can always use DirectX. If neither of those work, then your card doesn't support DirectX or OpenGL. However, you could buy a used card that will run NS very well for less than $25.

    Yeah sorry buddy they disabled software because the cloacking effect [and im sure alot of other reasons] didnt work, i used to have a crap pc i used software and i could see cloacked as if it was a juke i didnt realize till i got my new pc that cloack really means cloaked. good luck getting it working..
