Smooth groups are bad at the moment because i did them in about 5 minutes to get a good render of the gun. Should i go on or throw this away and start a new one?
[EDIT] I could post an unsmoothed version if any wants to see what it's like without smoothgroups...

Can someone plz tell me what that little area on clip is that seems like it got stretched? It only does that on the render, in max it seems just fine...
imagine you highlight a poly in max and it goes red turn the viewport around it. If you can never make it dissappear...or turn into a narrow line, then its non planar

what is the polycount btw?
But since i got a symmetry modifier on it i can still weld shitloads of vertices so im guessing the finished gun will be around 2000.
