    rofflecopter. A pity this seems to be all the attention this thread is getting. Guild Wars looks kinda interesting, in a "does not demand monthly tithings of your choicest goats" kind of way, and I wanna know if the game's actually any good. I seem to remember reading that it was too Diablo 2-ish for comfort (say what you like about Diablo 2, but it is sorely lacking as a <i>competitive</i> arena. imho.)

    I didn't find it very diabloish, other than the instanced worlds of course. You can collect 150 skills for each character, but you can only have 8 equipped at a time. SO lower level characters can still compete with high level characters if they have some skill. And the 8v8 arena is awesome. I don't know if anyone got a chance to play an actual guild warm but those were even better IMHO. If you're actually interested there are a couple of articles about the recent world preview event thing online. Just make sure you're not reading about the E3 event becuase the game is substantially different from that.
