First you need to uninstall the drivers from the control panel than reboot and after that run the program. If you really want a good description of what steps you should do than you need to read the readme file included in the zip file and installation as it contains a detailed description step by step.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

---------------------------------------------------
Important for nVidia users
---------------------------------------------------
For nVidia users that are going to uninstall 45.** or newer:
Just follow the steps, but these are a few things you need to know and do before.
In Driver Cleaner goto the options and select the backup functions.

When you uninstalled the 45.** or higher before without problems than select the nvidia cleaning file.
If you uninstalled them before and got problems than select the nVidia cleaning file and in the options window by Cleaning Options, uncheck Registry.

---------------------------------------------------
Important Note:
---------------------------------------------------
Make sure step 1 is done, because Windows will go online and download the driver from the Microsoft site.

ATI:
After the uninstall of the drivers and control panel check if windows set the display adapter to Standaard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA). If windows set it to Standaard Display Adapter (VGA) than it is highly possible that you wil get an infsetup error when you install the new ATI display driver. If you get this error set the display adapter to Standaard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA) and than install the drivers.

Could it be that the cat-uninstaller doesn't have effect on my comp ?
I tried loads of drivers and got same (bad :x) performance in steam games.

    Could this help ?
    I'll try it anyway.

It's best not to ask for a sticky to your own post.

Oh, and next time you decide to steal Driver Cleaner's readme, try including all of it:
