For those of you who don't know he is Australia's Prime Minister.
Hey Johnny, you are probably not going to read this but i will continue anyway. You seem like a very nice person, you just seem to get a bit mislead by certain people.

I once said of Marine01: <!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->On a side note I wish Marine01 would show up so we could have some semi-sane arguments for a change.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Marine is the hardcore Christians' last best hope for defending their ideas on this forum, and a worthy opponent.
Because he can so thoroughly confuse me by having a view very contradictory to that of my own and yet make so much sense. His arguments are always thought provoking and skillfully laid out, and are a real pleasure to grapple with. At the same time he once or twice really scared me with his views.
I'm sure this is true of other people on the boards who express themselves intellegently and have a standpoint different to mine, but Marine01 has made more of an impact in the short time I've been here, which could probably be attributed to the Australian Elections falling within that time.

Dont say those things, this is supposed to be a nice thread! I do get a little agressive though, which is weird because I'm quite passive IRL when not debating. Thank you skulk - I'd have to pick you as my primary opponent now that Filthylarry and Ryo-Ohki rarely post, and its always a pleasure. You take the time to read through my posts, and never fall back on the old tactic that most of us (myself included) succumb to, the "ignore the parts that are tough to answer".
The same goes for BM/moultano (I consider you two joined at the hip politically), I always hesitate before hitting the "post reply" button, and I ask myself if I'm really ready to start something, because I know it will be an uphill slog and I'll probably learn something my conservative side would rather not!
Eviscerator was a regular on the discussion forums a long time ago with an interesting take on past history, as well as a... rather unique take on current events. He was last seen in Rome - with a young American tourist named "Cindy", then appeared in a car in Tel Aviv with his story written on his hand and pressed against the window. What happened after that is anyones guess....

It's like a judo match sometimes-- you think you have the upper hand, and then your legs suddenly get swept out from under you, and you have to hit the the books (and, of course, google) again to engineer another tack.
Enlightening, very challenging, but horribly time consuming <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Marine01 is the guy who keeps my religious topics going for the next 6 pages after I have got too bored of arguing the same points over and over. I may not agree with alot of his conclusions, but him and I are some of the few, Christian, master debaters (sorry, I had to) that have an answer to every question, and even if his answers are different then mine, I respect the fact that he is willing to take up a cause, no matter how remote.

Comments
1. After 9/11 he absolutely <i>tore</i> into Al-Qaeda with a ferocity that could make even Alexander the Great blush.
2. We recieved the RFI under his administration (win XD).
1) He made everything, and took the time to give us this beautiful planet...
I still hate the bastard though
