Voice Problem

So i start an LAN server and enable voice loopback and my mic is working fine, but when I go to a NS server and leave voive loopback on i nodice that my name is flashing on the screen that shows who is chatting as if it where going off and on. also other players says that my voice is choppy so this could explain it. this olny happens on NS servers.

The voice lookback problem makes no sence to me you have it on before you enter the game? And wen you join the game it lags up?

about the choppness have you messed with your rate comands if you lower cl_cmdrate xx then you get better connection but you lagg badly on the mic lower you got setting it higher adds a bit more latency BUT better quality, if thats not it maybe your just using all your availible connection speed although if its a lan 1 server you should be on a 10Mbit line should you not.
