    After I clicked the link, I couldn't stop reading. Now I've finished, 8 horus later.
    Very, very interesting, to say the least. Not necesarily funny all the time, but that doesn't make it a bad comic strip. The ending was good but also a bit of a disapointment at the same time though. Not sure why. But I am a bit unsure if it was really worth my time.. though it did make me 'think'. Loved all the theories, discussions and all that.

    On a side note, I think this would make a rather cool movie. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    ... depending on how its created, the costs would be MINISCUOUS!

    For those of you who stopped reading after the first dozen or so comics, I suggest you five this comic a second chance. Admittedly, the early comics are rather bad; but once it finds its feet, I would have to say that it developed into the best webcomic I have ever read.

    I agree whole-heartedly BadKarma, I felt a touch of disappointment when it was all said and done.

    Best webcomic-story I've ever read tbh. Like a book, except its a comic. Does that make it a comic book?

    Yeah I read this back in the day. The guy that does this did... other things afterwards, but I lost interest once he'd posted that last strip.

    I was actually reading this while he was still making it... picked it up at about strip 700 or so. I read through the beginning mostly because I was bored at work at the time. Let me 2nd thoughts by some others:

    THE BEGINNING SUCKS. The rules haven't been laid out yet, the guy has no sense of humor, and in general, it blows. I got through it because I was bored and had nothing better to do at the moment... but once I got through the beginning, I ceased to be bored. It IS worth it, I think. Yes, yes, yes, good webcomics should grab you from the start. This one doesn't. I'm sorry. Try to give it a chance anyway.

    When he stops TRYING to be funny, he become quite amusing indeed. When he goes from cheap gags (the running gag in particular bored me for a while) to philosophy, it becomes fascinating.

    BUT! For those of you who still can't be bothered, and yet have read into this thread so far, let me reccomend another peice of his work that WILL grab you right from the get go, is MUCH shorter, you can get through it in like half an hour or less depending on you reading speed and internet connection, and is just as good:

    <a href='http://tailsteak.netherweb.com:8080/archive.php?num=32' target='_blank'>The 6th TV</a>
    Based on Plato's Tale of the Cave, which I would also reccomend you find and read, seeing as how it's Plato and all that. The Matrix was loosely based on the same source material, and we all know that at least the first Matrix was a good movie.

    At any rate. Only 48 pages. It's good. Read it.
