Issues, plz help
Okay, today I woke up and was like: "w00t remembrance day, no work, no school, huzzah, Halo 2 time". So I go do that for 4 or 5 hours, do a little homework. Check the e-mail, post here a bit. Play another hour of Halo 2. Now it's 12 Midnight and I'm wondering WTH I should do. I honestly don't want to play games or watch TV, nor do I feel like writing stories (my favourite passtime).

Anyone have any ideas what I should do? I want to do something, but I can't figure out what to do. Anyone have any good, free online RPGs with atmosphere? All help is appreciated, I am bored out of my mind and confused, I don't want to play on my Xbox, WTH.

Ok honestly, do you really really want to stay up, or can you not sleep? I mean you might as well, if there isn't anything better to do.

I walked up to the cashier and ordered a chicken sandwich. The time was midnight oclock, and my wife had just left me for a box of salad dressing. The room irked of a cheap horror movie, and in the corner I could see a team of rats organising the next season of the OC. I hated them all, like I hated my sarcastic children, gloating at me behind my back as they swam away into a box of tissues. I wish I was a woman.

The time is now midnight-oh-five oclock, and I still don't have my chicken sandwich. I'm starting to think the cashier isn't coming, before I realise that I'm in canada. I don't much like canada, I think it's all the hills.

The time is now midnight-oh-five and a half oclock. It might or might not be, I really can't tell anymore. My watch is a fake rolex, and the hands are halfway between cushion and pushing. The lines of reality and the beads around my neck start to blend together, like my chicken sandwich in a blender, blending together, like reality and beads that may or may not be around my neck. I don't know. It's midnight-oh-four oclock, and I don't know what to do. Remembrance day is over, and I can't remember what it was about. Like a steam train in a chocolate factory, I don't know where I'm going with my life, and I'm also covered in chocolate.

My name is mirrodin, it's midnight oclock, and I'm an alcoholic. This is my story.

The thing is I've only been awake for 17 hours, I shouldn't need sleep. I need something to do and games are it, or books, or posting on the forums >_>

In some circles, sleep is considered a good thing. That must mean it's bad. Fight it!

Narfwak was a librarian. Not just any librarian, no common schmoe that you see stacking shelves like slabs of meat into a jeep, Narfwak was the best damned librarian you've ever seen. Flip switching double stacking was the oldest trick in the book for him. He'd mastered the art of pyramid selection, slanting and axel grinding. The name might sound familiar to you. Narfwak was the Narfwak, inventor of the Narfwak alliance slip stacking. His were the proudest, most beautiful libraries of all the world, until one fateful day when he met a certain young woman perusing his latest shelves like a donkey in switzerland.

She asked him for a book, and he directed her to the stack and shelf it was nestled away in, comfortably resting, secure in its position, happy to be in the most well-kept library in existance. This book, however, was different. She had asked him for 'The Word of Simon'. Never before had this book been checked out. For years it had been kept in a quiet corner, nobody daring to even consider the pages contained within. And here was this young woman standing before him, carelessly thumbing through the most mysterious book in the world, that held none other than the words of Simon, copied down Verbatim many years ago in a musty old attic in New Hampshire.

Nervously, beads of sweat trickling down and resting on his cracked and parched lips, Narfwak contemplated his life. He was the most mild mannered person you'd ever meet. A short balding man, he huddled under a typical array of tweed jackets and plain white business shirts, never raising his voice or his eyes. His movements were slow and calculated, conserving energy and avoiding attention. He was a man who lacked humanity and bodily functions, and lived for his work. He was a librarian by day, librarian by night, librarian at christmas and librarian by profession. He was the best damned librarian to ever grace this world, and if anybody knew it, nobody was saying it. A Librarian wasn't something you celebrated but appreciated, and people did.

But none of that mattered to Narfwak as he gazed attentively at the well-kept woman before him. She radiated an aura of power and grace, silent domination. Cacking his lips apart and tasting softly the salty sweat that had pooled on his face, Narfwak raised his eyes to her deep blue pools of light, and nervously stammered the words that would seal his fate for the rest of his life:

    "A/S/L?"

Read a book. That is always a good way to educate yourself while enjoying something.
