Tadah, Bacon Quesadilla. You can also make other great quesadillas by ussing:
precooked bacon
sauted onions and peppers
cooked/seasoned ground beef
tomato (put it in after you cook the quedilla)
Nah, he forgot to butter the bread, or mention the mayonase dip.
Ingredients:
2 pieces of bread (white or wheat)
2-3 strips of raw bacon
1 lettuce head
1 Fresh Vine-ripened tomato (preferably refrigerated)
1 egg (yes, an egg)
1 Jar of mayonaise (not that fat-free crap either)
Leave the lettuce in the refrigerator until it is needed. It makes the lettuce more crisp before you eat the sandwich. Turn on the heat and throw in some bacon strips into a pan when it is hot. Slice the tomato while the bacon is cooking (but keep an eye on the bacon to not overcook). Take out the bacon when it is finished, and without removing the grease left behind, crack an egg in it and let it cook.
Spread a generous portion of mayonaise on the bottom and top part of the bread, and then place the cooked bacon on the bottom level. Take the cooked egg, and place it on top of the bacon. Put a dash of salt and pepper on top of the egg if you have any. Place both slices of bread, the bacon, and the egg into a toaster oven and let the bread get crispy. Take it out, open the sandwich and add the final touches.
Add the tomato slices, add the lettuce, close the sandwich, and you have the best BLT you'll ever have in your life.
Fry Up Ala Thansal.
what you will need: (note this make a me sized breakfast, so some people might wana tone it down)
1 Loaf good bread (french, italian, what ever you like, though it should be soft)
Large amount of bacon (or sausage, or both) sliced up
4 large eggs
sliced chedar or colby (about 6 big pieces)
butter (real butter only)
an onion (or 2 depending on size)
Start frying the bacon/sausage
Cut up the bread into about 1" thick slices
dice the onion
butter the bread, and toss in the bread and onions with some extra butter for the onions.
flip the bread ocasionaly, and stir the onions untill everything has browned up nicely.
During this you also need to prep your eggs as you would for scrambled eggs (whisk em with som S&P and any other spices you like, I tend to use cajun or worstesier)
Pour a little less then 1/2 eggs over this.
flip the bread and try to get everything to stick to the bread (shove it under there and press down)
pour the rest of the eggs and repeate
place the sliced cheese over all of this
serve with ketchup.
The more real version of this has no bread, and some extra veggies. Also just crack the eggs into the pan instead of scrampling them so you get fryed eggs holding it all together.
