<div class="IPBDescription">Heed My Call!</div> Okay, somehow I let myself get roped into doing an introduction to PHP coding for my school. I'd say my PHP skills are in the intermediate level so that's okay, only thing is I'm kinda rusty since I haven't coded anything challenging in quite a while. Although I'm probably going to be only teaching the basics so it's probably not going to be challenging anyway.

So my question to the PHP geeks is this: what do you think I should teach? I have about two hours to fill up... so yeah. I'm thinking basic string manipulation, getting input by forms and maybe some GD image manipulation since that is kind of cool.

Additionally, I wanna do some demo's of what PHP can do. I have a couple of silly little toys I've previously made with PHP but I want more ideas. Demo scripts I have: GD image making script (which I have to redo since it's kinda obscene <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->), a madlib generator and a mind reader script.

Any help would be muchos appreciated.

Who is the class aimed for?

    Complete nubs?
    Experienced coders?
    Somewhere in between?

Actually... I have no idea. I'm hoping the people attending would have at least basic programming knowledge. I really can't be arsed to teach programming basics. All that the teacher who ambushed me said was that she wanted me to teach the basics of PHP. Grah. In any case, assume that they have basic programming knowledge.
