<div class="IPBDescription">Donald Trumps's new show</div> I hate bans. I hate it when cigarettes are banned from my bars. I hate it when certain tv shows are banned (like Family Guy). But I especially hate bans involving games. I always thought games were a place to unwind and goof off - and not yet another place to act all priss and proper and be a goodie two shoes.
So that's why I decided to go in Chemical X the other tonight and unwind with a bunch of the pubbers. Instead of using my usual handle (Flounder) I called myself "a quiet monkey's rectum." When the humor in that failed to last into it's fourth hour, I added an extra bonus: each time I killed someone I would say
"YOU'VE BEEN RECTUMIZED!"
I binded it to my mouse2 key. And I used it for about 3 maps. I even commed one map saying it a bunch of times. Yeah, people got annoyed, but no one said, "stop or I'll ban you last warning." Instead, the admin waited until I was the team's only Onos and when I was attacking an important phase gate he permanently banned me. Yeah, I was a jerk - but permanent ban without warning?
SDJASON got banned from the server too for some silly thing, plus he got banned from these forums without warning or explaination. Why go around banning everyone? Are we trying to not make friends? And while I'm ranting - I hate getting kicked and banned from Voogru and G4B2S for things like recycling the base of a spawn camped team, or complaining about the horrible custom maps. I even donated to Voogru but they still banned me for recycling a loss.
I think the power of ban gets to people's heads. We should be men about these situations and confront someone about their behavior rather than conveniently banning them. Bans are lame, pure and simple. And that's my rant. I'm sure I'll get banned for it.

Also yelling, "You have been rectumized" and other such idiocy is a sure way to get banned. I certainly would of given you a warning, then temp banned you.

TheMunch, this is an issue that's just as important to talk about here as the community's negative attitude towards newbies.
Oh, and Flounder, if you're purposefully being an ****, don't be surprised. I'm mostly concerned about incidents where people didn't know they were doing something wrong.
The chem-X community isn't too friendly...I too, when I started playing competitively started out with cX and had quite a few unpleasent run ins. I suggest never playing there again. Besides, there's lots of other good servers out there. Infact, My clan was just recently sponsored by a company called Gaming-TV. They hooked us up with a pretty tight 26 slot public server CO/NS. IP is in my sig, check it out sometime!

This seems to fall under the category of Server bashing,
And acting like that, I see no reason not to ban you without warning, as there are plenty of NSPlayers out there with which to populate the server, the majority of which would prefer to not subject themselves to your antics.

I especially hate 3 year olds invading my favorite games with poop humor and silly insults whenever they manage to kill someone.
You really should not expect much sympathy for coming on someone's server and spamming a bind saying "YOU'VE BEEN RECTUMIZED." Contrary to what popular tv tells you, that is not humor. It is obnoxious.
