How Long Until Hl2 Mods Released?

<div class="IPBDescription">SDK out yet?</div> I believe the HL2 SDK was included in the game when you bought it, so I was wondering how long it would be until fully-fledged mods for HL2 started being released? Assuming that the teams were fuelled into crunch-time mode when HL2 came out...

How much would they have been able to complete without the SDK, and how much longer will they have to go?

Its gonna be a while till we see any "normal" mods.

Currently all we can do at the moment is mapping and modelling.

eternal silence 2 is hoping to have it's first version (much less than they have planned, in fact, only a small fraction of the intended gameplay) in 4-5 months.

its on valve's plate really. the faster they release a full SDK the faster you will see mods.

itll be a while me thinks, for now we only have the crap that is cs source to play.....oh and cs:cz which i found to be actually fairly fun

I bet there will be a basic HL2DM mod out within a month. After all, they have it working already, albeit quite buggy.

I heard it from an excellent source that NS:S will be out monday.

When The SDK that includes ANY amount of code, watch for news on that in the future, as for this thread, it lacks any point until that part of the SDK is released by Valve... locked
