ZzZzZz....
For some reason or another my ADSL has been really slow lately. This has only been occuring since Friday. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with Verizon working on the new FIOS stuff in my area or not. Either way this is really annoying. For example, my downloads usually go about 230-260KBps. Today, they go 12KBps.

I'm connecting to my wireless router with a D-Link Wireless PCI card.

Could be one of three things

ISP Server overload (usually happens around holidays for me (too many fat****s at home DLing porn))
J00 r gettring j00r m3g4hurtz stol3d.
Or your wireless card is giving out.

* check the card. Is the light solid, blinking, w/e
* does the light say 10Mbit a sec or 100?
* if you got a NICcard check (good brands have), run it.
* run msinfo32.exe, now go "helpprograms" and then the network diagnostic tool. Run this.
* go into your router and check settings, reload it perhaps. (incase of DHCP, don't just reload, reset it aswell, let it find possible new values)
* check the routers logs, statistics and connection screen
* call your ISP or watch there website for news, if you know ppl with the same ISP, ask em.

Even if he only had 10Mbit, it wouldn't make a difference, unless his internet connection is faster than 10 Mbit, which I doubt.
