Can't find what I need
Hi guys,
I've been looking for the tools I need to put together a HL wad but have been unsucessful.
I finally managed to download the original texture tools (had to get the full SDK). Problem is that I don't have any software to convert my images in to compatible bitmaps. I remember I used to use some random freeware tools but I can't find anything like this again. I've tried using jasc PSP 6 but it wont let me set the right format and I've tried using some texture tool called "Bright" from Epic but when I try and compile it just crashes qlumpy.
Is there a complete package now that can do it all, e.g. convert the image files and put them in to a wad?
Cheers,
Meto

PS can convert to bitmap.... can't it?
If you get really stuck I know for a fact the Gimp converts images almost flawlessly. Just open the image and save it to the new image type.
Wally is great, and it opens most of the major file types.
What I need is something to save 32bit TGAs , PSP 8 only does 24bit so I loose my transparancy when I save my source textures
Highly unlikely. Probably nuked though, since it's above limits.
Ohnos, CARTOON PEOPLE ARE DYING! THE LITTLE KIDDIES EYES!! OH GOD BANT~
Yeah.. right. It'll get nuked.
Unless you are talking to me, because in that case I have express permission from Nem0 to use my ava...
I think it does...
