I think it'd be a good idea to separate texture recreation from discussing re-designing maps in the Source engine (which IMO was the original purpose of this thread). That's why I posted the link to that demo above so we could try and put the thread back on track (sort of, heh).
The Cheat, it wuld be nice to have the map, too... Right now the .dem is rather not-instructive. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Haha! Stupid me! Goes to show that I shouldn't be trying to do this type of stuff running on 3 hours sleep. <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I fixed the file so it includes the map (with directory for ease of extraction), but I don't know if the link above will still work since it's giving me Page Cannot Be Displayed errors everytime I try it.

Hopefully this link works. It's the only way I think it's gonna work, since Yahoo Briefcase is messing up. The file should be viewable by everyone and since it's in the root directory, you should be able to download it. <a href='http://f1.pg.briefcase.yahoo.com/ra2yuri54@sbcglobal.net' target='_blank'>Link</a>.

Well, it's kinda funny, because I have completely blanked all of today when it comes to packaging files correctly. I didn't even need to include the demo, but I started first with a demo and demo's require the map (which I forgot). Then, you don't even freakin' need the demo because you'd have the map........just ignore it, I was messing around to show different ways that it could be looked at.
EDIT: And now that I've stopped being stupid (for once), here's the map.

I've uploaded a simple html file on my insignificant webspace that allows you to preview any picture file on your computer (that a browser can open, files like *.bmp, *.jpg, *.bmp, *.png, etc.). It allows you to view them as a tiling background, which can be difficult to do unless you make a map with a completed texture.
Feel free to download it from here: <a href='http://members.cox.net/liquidscript/previewtex.html' target='_blank'>http://members.cox.net/liquidscript/previewtex.html</a>
I've also sent it to the nsstexture-at-gmail-dot-com which is the publicly available NS Source Texture project database explained in this thread: <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=86672&st=0' target='_blank'>http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index....opic=86672&st=0</a>
LiquidScript...wow. I love that Tex Preview. It's much easier than having to make a huge new file and have to tile it by hand. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Keep up the good work on these textures!

Thank you.
