My Sig Sauer P229

<div class="IPBDescription">.40SW</div> Hey guys, Just showing you the (Most likely) newest addition to my collection, a Sig P229 in .40 caliber. Some of the blueing has been eaten off by an aparent spill of ketchup on it. Easily given to somebody to reblue for 100 bucks, and the rubber grip on it is torn (10 or 20 bucks at the local gun shop).

We're offering 550, because of the wear on it. Even if you add the 100 or 130 bucks We're going to have to spend on it, that is a deal and a half.

Easily the most comfertable pistol I've ever held.

Also, we went to a gun store today and we checked out a few pistols and an M1A. I held a Desert Eagle .50. 1 word:

Hilarious.

(I dont know what it is called) but where the bullet is before it is to be fired, it's about the length of my index finger. It's heavy as a tank, but overall: It would be fun to own. I wouldn't buy one though, 1200 bucks they were asking is too much. I could by an M1A with a walnut stock, and a 22" stainless steel barrel for 1300.

I checked out ALL sorts of 1911's, from Kimber, Colt, and Springfield. I think i'm going to have to go with the WW2 reproduction one's for 318$, and replace the ugly grip's that say US on them. I don't shoot match and I don't have a CCW, so I don't need an 800 dollar 1911.

Checked out the Spingfield XD. They are as nice as I thought they would be. 2 thumbs up.

Glocks: I still dont like them.

Kimber Compact .45: Would love to own one for a CCW, but the SIG PXXX series would be a good candidate too.

M1A: MMmmmmm.

Stupid little .38 Special detective type revolvers: Ugly. Gross. (Thumbs down on the gun, and .38 as a round)

That is about all I checked out that I can remember.

And now:

PIKTARZ.

Note the front of the slide on the left side of the gun: You will see the finish wear.

You... you spilt ketchup on your gun?

Hasn't your mother ever told you not to bring guns to the dinner-table?

why in the world was this pistol in a situation where ketchup could get on it...

Nice firearm, though. I'll probably be getting a P228.

Where the bullet is before it is to be fired = the chamber.

Pfft, $1200 is way too much. You can get one on counter-strike for $650! Bargain!

Silencers are illegal in the US but legal over here in the UK.

    Go figure.

Silencer's aren't illegal in the united states. Please read up before you state false information.

It is up to each state whether or not to ban fully auto's or silencers.
