Getting Heavy Lags Up To 2k Ping ...

<div class="IPBDescription">When the server is full</div> As I said I am getting crazy laggs if the server gets full and I am near a lot of friendly/unfriendly players.

I've got an athlon thunderbird 1400, geforce 4 ti 4200 64 MB, running win xp prof, running ns in open gl on 1024x768 in 32 bit, I am not running EAX( dont even know what it is) and Im playin ns over hl/steam and have newest version (not beta 6 <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> )

I have ISDN and since a few days I ve got those crazy **** lags, some guy told me to change my rates. But I have no really idea what it changes and how to set em up.
rate 18000
cl_rate is 0 which seems weird to me.

I would be glad if some1 could help me with this or post a link how to tweak ISDN con.

Your cl_rate shouldn't be 0, but I don't know what the right setting is for ISDN.

Hi there i have the exact same prob and i have 0 in it to and i tried to change it and it doesnt work it changes back to 0.

I have no problems with cs.

I would be very glad if someone could help me with this..

Go into your NS folder and delete the config.cfg file. NS will recreate it on your next startup with defaults.

or change the cl_rate to about 15000 (20,000 is for cable or greater, 15,000- 10,000 should work for you <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> )
