Voice Com Isn't Working Properly In Ns

<div class="IPBDescription">Signal gets cut off constantly</div> Keep in mind that I'm not having this problem with any other HL mod. I've compared settings to what I have set in Dod. They are the same, yet DoD doesn't give me trouble.

So if I tried to say this:

My name is Fred, don't hit my head, or you will be dead, my name is Fred

It would come out like this:

My name is F------'t hit my head, or you -------d, my name is Fre--

The dashes are where the signal is cut off. This makes it frustrating to communicate with anyone. Comming is a bit more frustrating when you have to type to effectively communicate with the team.

My motherboard has integrated sound. AC'97.

Well, make sure you keep holding the binded button for the mic (sometimes you might not hold it down enough all the way and you don't know it). Also try a different mic to see if there is something wrong with the one you have now.

try entering voice_dsound 1 in to your console or userconfig.cfg.

* note if you enter it in console, you'll have to wait for a map change to take effect

voice in HL1 mods can randomly become choppy for me unless I go into the processes and set Steam's priority to low.
