I don't see anything ugly about female horde chars... I ESPECIALLY don't see anything at all aesthetic about night elves... ridiculous floppy ears, skin the color of children's breakfast cereal...
I rolled a female orc warlock because I was sick of people saying orc females were ugly, and also I like being unique, and female orc warlock is probably the rarest char type in the game :> besides, male orcs are too bulky to look like proper casters... and orc females *I* think are one of the BEST looking females... but I've never been one for skinny chicks ;P
as for getting hit on by creepy males, that only happened when I was a newbie, and I just had to quickly tell them that my toon was the only thing female about me <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
and the horde environments? well, the barrens WAS kind of annoying - too big, too much running... and yes, it's a fact that the alliance have gotten more developer love than the horde - we have much fewer quests and such... but it just adds to the challenge! a level 40 horde can safely say they've put in as much work as a lvl 50 alliance...
back on the original topic of the thread - I thought you euros already had access to the US version of the game... I have 1 French guy and 3 Spanish people in my guild...

I bought WoW in Australia from a shop. I used a credit card to acces it. I play on Spinebreaker in the US, but cant see any other world region rather than the US to play in. Is this everyone elses experience, or am I missing something?

I tried playing a guy once and in no way do people treat you the same whatsoever. Guys don't have to put up with the stalkers, the harassment, the "knight in shining armour" complex* or the crowds.
You don't have to tease or flirt key, just being yourself is usually enough; it definitely was on the horde side that's for sure ><
