<div class="IPBDescription">look no further my friend</div> You may be asking yourself "Hey doc, how can i get back on the right track?" Well my answer for you is to find yourself a new track.
I know of several people that have stopping playing natural selection because its hard to find a good server with good people to play on. I, myself, being one of them. Well one day i thought to myself, "hey ns is a great game, im gonna go enjoy it." So I go server hopping, and land on one. Soon i took a gander into their community. I believe I found a winner by the name of the joe.to community.

You may now be saying to yourself, "Hey this is starting to sound like a commercial. Like one of the ones where the guy has herpes and learns to enjoy life anyways." Well it could be if you look at it like that, but mainly im doing this to help 2 communities. Bring more experienced players back to ns, and to help bring back experienced players to the www.joe.to community.

Now before you go on about the no advertising rule, let me say that I got permission from our very own Nem0 (thanks!).

There are many good experienced players in the joe.to community, some of the most mature and good players I've ever had the pleasure of playing with. It would be great if some of the good people from around here joined us. We aren't only about experienced and better players, and if your new we will be glad to help as long as you let us help.

The ns server, one of several servers in the community, is a very fast server, with only the nicest plugins. not to many rules except don't be an idiot. Many custom maps are ran, several maps exclusive to the server. Fast map downloads are on, so dont worry about searching around the net to download them.
There are many admins, and pretty much anytime there are players in the server at least one admin is in there. Each admin has their own icon so you can tell who is who, and there are also reserve slots. Each reserve slot gets their own icon, and it is very easy to get a reserve slot, get known and go to the forums (http://forums.joe.to) and apply. All you need is someone who will sponsor you for the first month.

Oh youll see the name of the server as "XXX Gorgy Pron - Fast Map DLs" and the ip for the ns server is 209.67.215.74:27015, or ns2.joe.to
Come on down to www.joe.to to check out some of our other servers. We also have a small mapping community for those of you who map.

    Lone Peak Fortified has some good old school 1.04 guys. The matches there are pretty dang good for a pub. Plus I get a rad ping time.

    it is bs_1, and after the time limit is up on a map you can vote between 4 different maps, that way you dont get stuck into a map that no one enjoys, or stuck into a co_map when everyone wants ns. usually people get on around 6-7ish north american central time.

    Ive been to Lone Peak Fortif'd. Its also a great server. Had a real fun time awhile ago on that server. I even added it to my favorates. Now I have to servers to visist.

    I should hang out on Lunixmonster more often, but I can't remember if they are BS_0 or not. Besides, I think their max player cap is 16 or something. That's pretty low for such a popular server, but I guess they don't want to ruin NS with a huge player count that NS just wasn't intended to handle. Lone Peak is capped at 23, but there's enough knowledgable players to cope with the larger numbers. Just prepare to play smart and play hard and have a good time and nobody will complain at you.

    I uesed to play on joe.to servers all the time with a few freinds. We did this for a few months till UT2004 came out. We havent played much NS together since. I have some very memerable rounds on joe.to servers. They also have an exelent website. definatly check them out. agreed

    hmm i would if its ok like an explanation from Nemo on this as well because, it is server advertsing.
    Be it the server owner or not i thougth any server advertisements (becasue this is what it is) got moved to the server admin forum. I have never posted a server advertisement thread because i know it would get moved to the server admin forum (inappropiate place imo) where only other server admins would read it.

    So why is this thread allowed and not others. It seems extremly unfair imho especailly since on monday i spent £200 on a new server and am paying an extra £100 a month on ns servers which i cant advertise here. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    i asked nem0. i see many people advertise, and several times ive seen it locked because the advertisement wasnt cleared first, i cleared it first.

    Guys, just a side note, let the man advertise his server. He obviously likes it, and I'm sure a few people who read these forums may like it in the future as well. If you all hound nem0 because he allowed this, he probably won't ever allow it again. And what would that accomplish? It would deprive those forum readers of their good game of NS.

    I think the main resion why was cause flam wars would ensue, with server advertising and so far this hasn't happened. and I hope it stays that way. But if people want a great playing experiance with bs_1 they will goto that server, else they will goto the two other servers represent here.
