<div class="IPBDescription">Headphones/WoW</div> Okay I bought new headphones about 2 weeks ago from newegg (<a href='http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=36-151-019&depa=0' target='_blank'>these headphones</a>) and they broke after 2 days. I RMA'd them, and they sent it back even MORE broken (I guess I get what I pay for). I'll keep it short:

Question # 1.) Headphone recommendations. I've been looking at <a href='http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=26-106-009&depa=0' target='_blank'>these</a>, yay or ney?

Question # 2.) I just ordered WoW. Why? I don't know...I'm not into the whole monthly paying for games because I think it's a scam, but I've heard so much about the game I HAD to try it. So I ordered it from bestbuy yesterday. What should I know about the game before playing it? (Also known as tips. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> )

Thanks!

    Tip #1. Play Alliance on Frostwolf, and join the other 50 NS'ers on there.

    (Myself, Injury, Toothy, Redford, Simms, Narfwak etc etc etc)

    Yeah for SE they sure are making lots of money through FF11 (And now EQ2 for Japan) . Then they're making another MMORPG called fantasy earth.

    Too bad your headphones broke after 2 days. Not sure about picking headphones but I usally buy the cheap ones and it usally lasts 5+ months.

    I still have to try these out:

    <a href='http://www.sennheisercommunications.com/pr-pc150.html' target='_blank'>http://www.sennheisercommunications.com/pr-pc150.html</a>

    But I've been lucky with my el cheapo headsets, I only broke a few...

    I would recommend any medium-price range from Sennheiser.

    Seinnheiser is good, and Platronics makes some nice ones especially if you want an attached microphone.

    Do you have a 5.1 surround sound audio card? (It needs to have a center, front and rear speaker jack) If you do I think you should get a pair of
    <a href='http://www.zalmanusa.com/usa/product/view.asp?idx=134&code=023' target='_blank'>these</a>. Undeniably the best set of headphones I've ever worn. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I'm not really into spending over $20 bucks on headphones so I think I'm going to go with the Plantronics.

    In other news: My brand new 100 dollar power supply that I ordered from newegg is malfunctioning. I'm starting to hate newegg.

    Believe me, Sennheiser is worth its "more than 20 bucks". <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Platronics model 90's are AWESOME. The quality is great, its easy to figure out where something is, and the mic is really good. Plus their cheap.

    About WoW, don't be a pansey and play Alliance, go find a good PvE server and play Hoard (Personally I play on Bloodhoof). There's plenty of PvP action, just only for those who choose it so you can't get ganked while exploring unless you want to <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
