It's excellent. The changes made really improve gameplay all around, and the edited maps I have played on have all been vastly improved for both balance and gameplay.

I'd like to know how bast and eclipse are now.. I like the fact that eclipse has elements of the original MS now, because I loved the original eclispse(yeah I'm 2.x old school).

On a more serious note, the map changes look quite good (nice screenshots DragonMech <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->), and the gameplay balance changes sound, from the endorsements, to have been very effective. I think I'm going to like Beta 6 - a lot.

Good things to note in B6: -SC is a very viable 1st chamber because.. a)puts marines within range of SC on SoF b)30% cloak while running on the ground/ceiling is sick c)2% innate health regen lets skulks stay in the field longer without going back to heal -almost all map changes are for the better -new map, ns_eon, is quite sexy. Tight corners and a very nice splattering of vents makes it a good alien map. At the same time, there are also biggish rooms and neato siege spots which makes it good for marines. -new movement code makes bhopping easier(for me at least) -back to the old JP sound -each alien lifeform has its own falling sound so you know whether its a gorge/skulk/fade/onos that just plopped down behind you before it spits/bites/slashes/devours you -all the little bug fixes

Ive had head on SG blasts that do no damage to a Fade leaping blinking right at me or skulk leaping right at me or Fade blinking away, way crazy SG blasts that are NOT EVEN NEAR the target get a kill, invincible Gorges because theyre standing against the wall, lerks without hitboxes(I shot a full hmg clip at the model of a lerk flying around, and yes, i can aim), aimed knife slashes that do no damage(but only when the skulk/gorge is moving), three bites required to kill a marine at game start...
You name it, Ive seen it. Its sick.
Its totally unpredictable. Especially so for anything that moves quickly.
I believe awful hitboxes means, we will have to wait a very long time until b6 will be officially released to the public :/ But it is better, if they´d try to fix the hitboxes, than playing a buggy game.
