Play Dungeon Keeper! \_/!
The Elder Scrolls II - Daggerfall
RPGCodex has a whole several pages of indie CRPG's for you to look at. Those people there are biased towards Turn-based, it's so funny. Read their topics on news items sometimes, they're a riot.
If you're looking for a complex and simple (at the same time) RPG, there are several Rogue-likes for you. SLASH'EM (Super Lotsa Added Stuff Hack - Extended Magic) is a good Rogue-like, and ADOM is probably the most popular. Nethack is probably the simplest of em all, but it's pretty similar to SLASH'EM, just without a GUI.
EDIT: A couple other Rogue-likes are, of course, Rogue, and Moria. I don't feel like linking them though.
Have fun!
Play it if you have time to kill.
