Neuroplasticity

<div class="IPBDescription">something to meditate upon</div> I came across an interesting article here <a href='http://www.urbandharma.org/udharma8/monksmed.html' target='_blank'>Neuroplasticity and Buddhist monks</a>

It seems that it is possible to literally become compassion and kindess. Is this not in effect embracing the true ideals of many religions e.g. Christianity? Do any Christians here feel that this is in any sense parallel to the acceptance of Jesus Christ in the heart?

    That's pretty awesome, tbh. It reminds me of something from Phillipians:
    "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable -- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy -- think about such things. Whatever you have learned or recieved or heard from me, or seen in me -- put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you."
