<div class="IPBDescription">The Rules + Regulations Of E3 ?</div> E3 2005 is a few months away yet (May 15th I think) but
I was reading their site last night to find out more about the event.
( <a href='http://www.e3expo.com/e3expo/' target='_blank'>http://www.e3expo.com/e3expo/</a> )
Like many of you here, i've love to go.
A few weeks back my Mum + Step-dad said to me,
"If we go to the States on a Holiday (Vacation) again,
do you want to come with us?"
I thought about it and decided that it'd be an interesting
experience despite the 9 hour flight. They typically go to
Florida and I could probably talk them into going to L.A
instead. L.A == E3, woo!
But... alas, E3 isn't open to the "General Public".
(Which is understandable really, they'd have geeks flooding
the place and getting far too excited at the sight of the "Booth Babes".)
Flayra.... if you're reading this and need a representive from
Unknown Worlds Ent to go to E3 for you and help out
(i'll make coffee, lay out chairs, anything!) then PM me.
So, what do you lot think of E3's rules and regulations?
I'd like to hear from someone who's been to E3 about the
likes of security measures. Because, if I remember rightly,
a Metal Gear: Snake Eater disc was stolen. (?)

You must be over 18. You must be affiliated with the game industry and prove it. That includes Blockbuster employees and possibly Toy-R-Us. But mostly it's for employees of game companies. You could also try to get a booth job for a company, but there's no central agency for that (try MS or EA).

Actually that was a hoax.

Ok thanks. But that last comment was uneccessary.
[Edit after reading site]
I guess you have to actually be a professional in the gaming/computing business to get into e3. This somewhat royally sucks.
It's a <i>trade show</i>, not QuakeCon. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

The only rules I found were if you are a member of the media you must be an editor, not an art director or something. Care to tell me where you found that?
