The fantastic Four were allways up there in my list of coolest super heros, oh well, at least there's this if the case isn't over by July 1st.

Not a huge fan of the superhero movies, but I have to admit that did look pretty awesome.

Never liked Fantastic Four that much. I would rather they invest some money for superhero movies into something cool like the Ultimates (the best comic series out there, hands-down. Trust me on this one).

A good (I repeat: good) film adaptation of Spawn would be pretty cool. Or Azrael.

Never was a fan of the Fantastic Four... so I can say that the movie adaptation does indeed look quite silly.

Penny Arcade has something to say about the Fantastic Four but it's not quite forum appropriate.

Interesting trivia: A fantastic four movie was made, but never released, in 1994. Really, look here: http://imdb.com/title/tt0109770/

Apparently a studio had the rights to it and made a pretty crappy version just before those rights ran out, solely in order to get a big studio to buy it off of them for much more than it ever would have made at the box office, so that the crappy version wouldn't be out there ahead of the big hollywood version. And it's only taken them 11 years to finally get the good version out...

Mr Fantastic is still really really useless. The Thing throws cars at people, Johnny Storm rides a motorbike whilst on fire. Reed.... opens doors.

    Bah on all of you!

    I like the fantastic four!

Reed is not pointless. You wana get into a fistfight with a guy that can stop bullets with his body? or just envelope you?

I say the film will be fun (not good, just fun, like most super hero movies)

oh, and bah on marvel for still trying to get NCSoft (never gona work, NCSoft did way to much to protect their arses )

The movie does indeed look absolutely pants. For one thing, Ben Grimm should be all CGI, because he's so bulky no actor is the right proportions. Also, this rubber suit is straight out of a B-movie.

On the subject of superhero movies though, I'm getting really sick of having to put up with 45 minutes of "this is how the character came to be" at the start of the movies. Just start with the superhero already made, dammit, just like in comic books. Any necessary backstory can be handled with exposition.

The Invisible Woman looks absolutely delicious.

I am resisting the urge to say something wildly inappropriate.

On a similar note, I hope the Batman movie is good. I like Batman's actor (his name escapes me at the moment, but I usually know it. eat crap). I thought he was pretty good in American Psycho.

Batman movie does look great. I am glad they are going away from a pansy funny comic Batman, to a Batman that kicks ****.

Hehehe...if you are a Batman fan, look for a fan movie called Batman: Dead End (I found it on theforce.net). Batman is no sissy boy in that fan flick. ^_^

Fantastic 4 looks like its worth paying for (rather than sneaking in like I do for every movie).

so this new batman, am I going to see him really beat on people this time? I mean really wail on somebody. I want to see the blood fly, I want to see somebody get shot and die in a large pool of their own blood and I want to see some really painfull looking broken limbs. none of that sissy crap from the old batman movies.

if you think that's bad, try not buying a commercial music CD for the last 4 years.

I kind of liked Spiderman 2, though I feel bad about not paying money to see it.

See if you can convince someone to buy you a ticket to go see it, then you don't have to compromise your morals, and can still watch it.
