U've Got A Waypoint, U're Ready To Go.. But Alone?

teamates not helping: what would you do?
This is probably the biggest problem I see with pub games: the commander wants you all to go somewhere, you're ready like a good player... and yet everyone else is still armory humping or even running off in the wrong direction.
Do you wait until you can get someone to come with you? Wait up for everyone to get a clue? Or do you just go to the waypoint as ordered, when ordered?
I've generally just been going, doing what the com tells me... but most of the time I just end up dead as a reward. A lone marine is easy to pick off in most cases, as the game is designed to demand concentrated fire against all but the most worthless of skulks.
But the dilemna nags me. Do I go? Do I stay and try to yell at the dweebs to follow me to the waypoint? How long do I waste trying to get them to follow, while the aliens are busy owning the map?
What do you usually do?

That option is usually the best. Or try to find one 'ally', a fellow marine who seems to be listening, communicating, and following orders and try and get him to move with you.
It's possible, I did play on veil tonight, though I can't remember if I played caged. On veil, we nearly lost marine start while everyone was in cargo, but got it back. I knifed the pipeline hive for teh win. The second veil game no alien but me dropped res, and we lost double to rines pretty quickly and were stuck in subspace the rest of the game.

haha, yes! And I was yelling at the com to relocate to double (which he had already turreted up) because there was nothing left in ms besides the cc. But he didn't know how to drop a cc or something. Sad sad game, the only reason we won was because I think the aliens dropped a total of 2 rts throughout the game.
Best case scenario - They get scared and go to the big blue circle thing
Worst case scenario - They wet their pants.
Win-Win.
Just go to the marine start exit; and start spamming flashlight until enough of them start following you... Humpers tend to follow flashing rines like flys around lights...
What happens when there are two paths that are almost the same length, so half of the group gets sent one way and the other half gets sent a different way?
and besides, its a pub, its no big deal if your team loses, and those people who do listen, could just be wasting their time because the commander doesnt know what he's doing, and he's sending you into some pit of doom, and people probably would realize that unless they're a noob
Using the unmutable Move Out and Follow Me commands sometimes works.
Voice spam incessantly... you can get your marines to do anyhting...
Including relocating to that corridor(map dependant) that i absolutely love relocating to...
