<div class="IPBDescription">with java!</div> My java class was just introduced to <a href='http://robocode.net/' target='_blank'>Robocode</a>

Its basically a editor that lets you program your own robot/tanks in java to fight other robots/tanks created by other people. This has made learning java so much more fun especially in a class environment.

You can go about coding how your robot moves, what it does when hit, how fast it fires etc. Try it out, its very fun.

I haven't even checked the website, but how you describe it seems odd. If you code how fast it fires, etc, what stops you from typing in firerate = 99999 and winning all the time? If there is anything to win.

meh we use <a href='http://csis.pace.edu/~bergin/KarelJava2ed/Karel++JavaEdition.html' target='_blank'>Karel J Robot</a> and <a href='http://www.collegeboard.com/ap/pdf/case_study_update_8_17_00.pdf' target='_blank'>Marine Biology Case Study</a> but im defintaly gonna recomend robocode

I reccomended it on my other boards. WEll in the MBCS were making war of the seas and each person makes a fish and it has to follow certain rules then we do what ever, like I have a sniper fish that sits in a corner and kills all fish that are a lower size and has a 1/3 chance of killing one the same size, and the person next to me is making a fish that runs away by spwaning children in its wake

MBCS isn't much fun (well, it can be, but that's a long story) but it's great for learning Java.
