Fewer Posts?

Is it just me or did the forums die a bit after the month of down time. Just seems to me that there are fewer posts per day.

I think the months of down-time crippled the community. Hopefully things will pick-up when b6 is released (though new b6 versions are still being tested by consties)

Actually, there are more topics being started on a daily basis now than before the move, and forums such as O-T and Discussion have returned to their old selves post-haste. It's true that General is a little slow, but I'd argue that this is because a) a part of its population is currently at work in the Constellation forum, and b) because the current development situation has just been discussed rather extensively by now.

Forums now default to view the last 20 posts instead of viewing all of them like they used to. Coupled with the down time that prevented new posts from being started for a few weeks around Xmas time, the forums looked virtually dead. But as Zero said, they are alive and kicking.

Actually, if there are any others like me around then they took advantage of the downtime and got some distance from the NS forums.

Frontiersman and Kharaa Strategy had completely died at one point, now there are new posts all the time there. That's a part of the forum that really should get used, and it does, so that's a good sign.

Forums run much slower (for me) now than before. If this is the case for other too, this can contribute to lower number of posts.

Not noticing a difference in speed of the forums really. I for one am posting here less, although I seem to be getting back into the swing of things now.

yeah , general has been kinda slower... but I&S is still overflowing with ideas (mostly terrible ones, but ya know)

I'm sure B6 will stirr things up again

B6 will bring in a lot, even adding to how much we have.
But I agree with nem, a lot is happening OUTSIDE the general discussion. A lot of O-Ts, try the Fan Fiction forum, the WereWolf Game in roleplay is really picking up.
