....since upgrade
Gday Everyone

Recently I upgraded my sound system for my comp (z5500's + Audigy2 ZS Platinum) and ever since I have NS has been acting strange... for some reason the audio from everything else already playing on my computer eg. winAmp, MSN alerts and in-game microphones are muted... however in-game sounds such as biting, shooting etc i can hear... but if I alt tab out of NS I can hear my winAmp and MSN again

So i was wondering if NS is trying to use the old built-in sound drivers or something? and what will fix it, cause not being able to yell at my team mates is annoying and i can't listen to music

I had a similar odd thing happen to me when I upgraded my sound card. In my case it turned out that the default system setting for my sound card was a 5.1 speaker set, and this setting was causing odd effects for NS. I changed it back to headphones and my problems cleared up. Hope this helps.
