    I was thinking of changing my avatar to something more cool and something I'd be more wililng to use permanently, but I don't know what it could be. perhaps a flashing disco "pj rules!" avatar would do.

    Actually, that varies with time zone. The post time will be different for everyone that looks at it, but the "edit time" is the same for everyone.
